“Over the last decade California has passed laws, orders and regulations that have led to massive irregularities,” the Election Integrity Project California said in a statement Monday announcing a huge legal win.
The Ninth Circuit has ruled that Election Integrity Project®California (EIPCa) and recent and future congressional candidates have standing to challenge the Constitutionality of California’s election laws, regulations, policies and procedures that have weakened or removed integrity from the election process. Though the Constitution gives authority to state legislators to pass laws to manage elections and process ballots, EIPCa asserts they do not have carte blanche authority to pass laws that diminish the value of the lawfully cast ballots.
These laws, orders and regulations culminated “in the 2020 election, when Governor Newsom authorized mailing a ballot to all ‘active’ registrants on the voter rolls and former Secretary of State Alex Padilla gutted signature verification requirements. EIPCa received over 700 affidavits signed under penalty of perjury from EIPCa-trained observers who consistently reported election workers not adequately verifying signatures and, in some cases, counting ballots without signatures.”
EIPCa continues:
“Because neither the state legislature nor Alex Padilla required uniform and secure vote casting and counting procedures, uneven procedures were applied across counties. EIPCa and its co-plaintiffs filed this lawsuit against Governor Newsom, the Attorney General, the Secretary of State, and thirteen country registrars.
“This lawsuit is monumental because it is the first to challenge the constitutionality of California’s election laws and procedures, and we are the first to get past standing,” says Mariah Gondeiro, the lead attorney who works for Advocates for Faith and Freedom. “If we win, California will be required to enforce secure and uniform vote casting and vote counting procedures.”
“For over a decade, Election Integrity Project®California has researched and documented every aspect of California’s election process and identified how these laws transformed an Election Day into a 60-day election season fraught with easy to manipulate procedures,” says Linda Paine, President of EIPCa. “We are now seeing California Style laws in states across the country creating the same problems that have been witnessed and documented by EIPCa-trained observers in California for years.”
The Globe has covered election “anomalies” and explained some of California’s in 2020:
In 2016 the California Legislature and Gov. Jerry Brown ostensibly “legalized” ballot harvesting, allowing a third party to collect ballots and deliver them to election officials, eliminating the ballot protection law that allowed only a family member to return another voter’s ballot.
As I write this, I am receiving many reports from California voters who say their votes have not been counted. Candidates report their districts are only reporting at 59% and worse.
While the Secretary of State says he has until December 11 to announce California’s election outcomes, how did we get here?
Voters’ party registrations were changed right before the June 2016 Primary election, ensuring a Hillary Clinton win over challenger Bernie Sanders, in what was called electronic vote rigging. California was a crucial state for both Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton, but the election was called for Clinton minutes after the polls closed, before millions of provisional ballot votes were counted.
A 2017 study by Stanford University proved that Hillary Clinton‘s campaign pre-rigged the system to steal the nomination from Bernie Sanders. And it was never more apparent than in California where Bernie Sanders voters were likely robbed of a legitimate candidate.

This is very good news!
Amen. This COULD finally be the start of election reform in California. Thanks to EIP!
This news could almost make a person weep with joy during Thanksgiving week it is so wonderful. But will tamp down expectations now and instead keep a close eye on this development and just watch. And help, if needed.
Thank you, thank you, Katy Grimes, for catching and reporting on this!
Thank you Katy for consistently supporting the work of Election Integrity Project California (EIPCa) and....
Thank you to all the CA citizens who continued to answer the call from EIPCa to help us document the impact of California's election laws, regulations, policies and procedures on fair, honest and transparent elections. While the rest of the country mocked CA citizens, you all continued to do the work researching, observing and documenting the facts of what caused the loss of integrity in CA elections.
My eyes were opened in 2020. Until we go back to needing to register to vote in person (unless there is a valid reason to mail it in) and we do not use machines to count, I will not trust the results of any election. I'm hoping this is a step in that direction.
Great news, but eip-ca.com has been in this fight for over 5 years.
They need support from both sides of the aisle to end the tyranny that Governor Moonbeam set in place.
It has taken the dedicated efforts of the people at eip-ca.com a long time to get to this point, and you can bet the house that the DNC will pull in all of their big guns for the fight in court.
Everyone who values the integrity of the vote needs to stand up and support the Election Integrity Project of California now..........Thank you Katy for giving us this report and this sound board.
Why are you talking about Governor Brown? His nickname is Gov. Moonbeam, not Newsom. But seriously, I’ve worked elections in CA for 20 years. Sending mail in ballots made sense during the pandemic but now it’s just confusing people. Go back to the old system of asking for them if you are out of town or permanently—but not everyone. What I don’t tolerate is a voter accusing me and other workers of sabotage because we enforce the rules. Stop the “everything is rigged” talk just because your candidate loses. Real reform like the suggestions in the article are welcome. We enforce the rules for every voter.
Now that we know what is going on let’s do something about it Idid not go to college but have common sense I have been saying this all alone show ID when voting have it more secured when counting ballots we the people should have the say of laws changed not newsoms making his own rules
Everyone on this site should make a REGULAR CONTRIBUTION to EIP-CA, because they are doing the work required of patriots...
California voting procedures have all but eliminated internal controls and chain of custody of ballots and Padilla's purchase and statewide distribution of a certain litigious brand of voting machine systems that "dominates" the election process set the stage for the rampant fraud that we've seen since 2016.
It was bad before that in the major metropolitan centers, but the expansion statewide gave us the failure of Newsom's recall election.
Let's go back to ELECTION DAY instead of ELECTION SEASON, and roll back the vote by mail procedures that floods the state with loosey-goosey ballots that are easily exploited using the centralized processing of these ballots.
The machines are needlessly complex, confusing to operate for non-technical election volunteers and rife with security exploits that were called out by a security firm on a PDF that's on the CA SOS website.
It's great to see Linda Paine responding here and we need to support her and her team, along with Tom Fitton and the Judicial Watch team for the work both are doing to fight election fraud that is rampant nationwide, but ESPECIALLY in California!!
In 1964 I turned 21 and was able to vote for the first time. I also volunteered to work at the polls. I was appointed as a clerk who would monitor the election process. This included checking the ID of each person who came to vote. That entailed looking at their ID and verifiying that they were listed in the roll of registered voters. In the poll there was a judge and a clerk, and an assistant judge and assistant clerk. When the poll closed the ballots were removed from the ballot box and each ballot was hand counted by the judge and a clerk. Then each ballot was recounted by the assistant judge and the assistant clerk. Then the totals of the judge and clerk were compared with those of the assistant judge and assistant clerk. The numbers had to match or we were required to repeat the process. When the count was completed and certified by all for four of us we called the County Sheriff who sent a deputy to pick up the resealted ballot boxes and carry them to the county office where they wer again recounted (again by hand) and numbers had to match our poll totals. We did not leave our polling place until the Sheriffs Deputy picked up the sealed ballot box. As I remember that was around 2 AM. In those days ballot security was a BIG issue. It is good to see that CA is likely going to return to a secure voting process.
You are utterly unqualified to even attempt to report on anything, based on your lack of experience and failure to adhere to the basic tenets of true news reporting. Pathetic fraudulent claims of legitimacy only further your stench. Either become qualified and behave like an actual professional organization or stop presenting your “site” as something you’re miles short of being.
It’s called a Fairness Doctrine, and even though Reagan destroyed the fifth branch of the government by rescinding it, true professionals still adhere to it out of ETHICAL RESPONSIBILITY. Something you’ve clearly no familiarity with.
Your fraud sickens me and anyone who is an actual reporter of news.
It never fails that the left spews out their vitriol without giving one shred of verifiable evidence. Everything is supposed to be believed at face value. It is to be ignored.
Did you forget to take your meds, Rebecca???
You must be another unhinged, progressive Democrat, based upon that impassioned overwrought emotional outburst...
